Free Nature Playgroups at Juniper Hill School

These free program are designed to foster a deep connection between children and the natural world. Children and their parents/caregivers will read stories, sing songs and enjoy snacks by the campfire, create gourmet mud kitchen delights, participate in nature-based crafts, and create new features in the Magic Woods. Nature Playgroups are held rain or shine so children and their families should dress for the weather. (Note: We have children's boots and other outerwear to lend if required.)

Playgroups meet weekly on Thursdays (10am-Noon) and Fridays (9-11am) beginning Thursday, September 27, 2021 and continuing thru Friday, May 28, 2020. Please note there are no playgroups on the following school holidays:

November 28 & 29 - Thanksgiving Break

December 26 & 27, January 2 & 3 - Winter Break

February 20 & 21 - Mid- Winter Break

April 16 & 17 - Spring Break

Homeschool-friendly

Meets Thursdays, 10am - Noon

This Nature playgroup is geared towards families of young children with older siblings up to age eight and accompanying parent/caregiver.

Free Nature Playgroup (Ages 0-5 years)

Meets Fridays, 9-11am

This Nature playgroup is playgroup designed especially for younger children of preschool age and younger with their accompanying parent/caregiver.
